​Fire Board Nominations
The Pecan Grove Volunteer Fire Department (PGVFD) is currently seeking nominations for Fire Board Directors to serve for a 2-year term. The Fire Board currently meets at 6:30 PM on the second Thursday of every month at Station 1 (727 Pitts Rd., Richmond, TX 77406). The Board of Director positions are filled by a process of nomination, qualification and consideration by members of the PGVFD.
The following are eligible to nominate persons for consideration to serve on the PGVFD Fire Board of Directors:

MUD Board Directors
-
Current Pecan Grove VFD Fire Board Directors

In-District Homeowners Associations Board Members
-
Active Firefighter/EMS or Support Services PGVFD Members in good standing

Resident of PGVFD Service Area (Pecan Grove, Waterside Estates, Harvest Green)
The Nomination Form is required to nominate a community member in the PGVFD service district. Please submit a completed nomination form to:

Once all nominee forms are submitted, a nomination packet will be sent via email to the nominees. The completed submission of the application is required to show the nominee’s willingness to stand for election to the PGVFD Fire Board of Directors.
Completed packet must be returned by Sept. 27, 2024. Nominees must be present for the PGVFD Business Meeting on Tuesday, October 08, 2024 at PGVFD Station 1 (727 Pitts Rd., Richmond, TX 77406) at 7:00 PM to introduce themselves to the PGVFD membership. The election will take place Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at PGVFD Station 1 (727 Pitts Rd., Richmond, TX 77406) at 7:00 PM. Ballots will be counted that evening. If elected by majority vote, term takes effect Dec. 1, 2024.
