Many of you may remember the brisket fundraiser held over Easter weekend in support of our own, Ryan Berg, as he faced one of the toughest challenges of his life. We are thrilled to share that Ryan has successfully completed his final round of chemotherapy, marking a significant milestone in his cancer journey. Throughout this battle, Ryan demonstrated remarkable strength, resilience, and determination, supported by an outstanding medical team, his family, friends, and the extended fire service family that stood beside him every step of the way. While the completion of treatment is a tremendous victory, Ryan recognizes that recovery is the next chapter of his journey. With the same courage that carried him through treatment, he now looks forward to rebuilding his strength and working toward returning to the truck, serving the community he loves alongside the brothers and sisters who have supported him throughout this fight. Ryan extends his heartfelt gratitude to everyone whose prayers, encouragement, and generosity helped carry him through this difficult time. Your support made a lasting difference and will never be forgotten.
