The Pecan Grove Volunteer Fire Department extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who joined us in celebrating a historic milestone at the wet down ceremony for the department's very first ladder truck.
This remarkable addition to our fleet represents our continued commitment to providing the highest level of fire protection and emergency services to the citizens we are honored to serve.
Ladder 61 will proudly carry the name "The Golden Girl" in honor of the department's very first Fire Chief, Chief Kathy Golden. This dedication recognizes Chief Golden's pioneering leadership, unwavering commitment, and lasting contributions to the Pecan Grove Volunteer Fire Department. Her legacy has helped shape our organization, and it is fitting that this apparatus bears her name as it serves our community for many years to come.
We are honored to share this exciting new chapter with our community and look forward to seeing Ladder 61 proudly serving Pecan Grove for generations to come.
