5 Miles My Way

It's time for the PGVFD’s Annual July 4th  “Five Miles My Way” event! Each participant chooses a five-mile course…running, biking, skating, or walking (three mile route for walkers). No motorized vehicles allowed! Prizes are awarded in each category, and a T-shirt is given to each participant, while supplies last. We even hold a bike decorating contest for the kids!

The first Saturday in June we will kick off our in-person registration at our Open House Event at Station 1 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. We will be holding in-person registrations every weekend in June at the Tree House Academy (Plantation Dr. & 359) from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. You can register online at anytime. Registration is $30.00/person. All sales are final and we will not be able to issue refunds. We will be happy to exchange sizes if available. After June 17th, we cannot guarantee a shirt for the race.

Avoid lines the day of the race! Check-in will be on Sunday June 30th from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM at Station 1 on Pitts Rd. Stop by, verify your info, receive your race number and if you haven't received your shirt yet, you can pick up your t-shirts too. Please share with your friends and neighbors, as we highly encourage all participants to take advantage of checking in prior to the day of the race.
